Terms and Conditions for Reset Your Life Retreats

1. Scope
   1.1. These terms and conditions apply to the organization of workshops, retreats, and other events (hereafter: „Retreats“) conducted by Anne-Marie Seekings.
   1.2. The following conditions regulate the booking and participation in the retreats.
   1.3. Anne-Marie Seekings is responsible for coaching, workshops, yoga, and meditation sessions, as well as organizing the retreats or booking yoga teachers. She is not a tour operator or travel agent, but a freelance coach. The retreats take place in England, Ireland, Greece, or Germany, and are held only twice a year. Prices are listed separately for coaching/yoga and accommodation.

2. Offer, Acceptance, Conclusion of Contract
   2.1. The description of the retreat on the respective landing page constitutes a legally binding offer.
   2.2. Upon acceptance of the offer by the participant’s order, the participant will receive a booking confirmation via email, including details of the order and payment.
   2.3. The terms and conditions can be viewed at any time on the website.

3. Rights, Duties, and Liability of the Participant
   3.1. The participant is responsible for fulfilling the prerequisites for participation and for organizing their travel at their own cost.
   3.2. Participation requires normal psychological and physical fitness. Any restrictions or complaints must be communicated before the retreat begins.
   3.3. Participation is at the participant’s own risk. The participant releases Anne-Marie Seekings from any liability for injuries, accidents, or illnesses occurring during the retreat.
   3.4. If the announced teacher becomes unavailable at short notice, a replacement teacher may be provided. This does not entitle the participant to cancel.
   3.5. The participant is liable for any damage caused to the retreat house or provided items.

4. Rights and Duties of Reset Your Life Retreats
   4.1. Reset Your Life provides only the retreat services. Travel, accommodation, and meals are not included.
   4.2. The schedule or content may be adjusted, provided that the goal and nature of the retreat remain unchanged.
   4.3. In case of force majeure (e.g., accidents, pandemic), the participant will be informed promptly. No claims for reimbursement, including transport or hotel costs, will be accepted.

5. No Right of Withdrawal
   5.1. Consumers do not have a right of withdrawal according to § 312g paragraph 2 no. 9 BGB.
   5.2. The registration is binding upon booking.
   5.3. The participant must consider the risks associated with COVID-19.

6. Replacement Participant
   6.1. A replacement participant may be provided until the start of the retreat, who will assume the rights and obligations.
   6.2. Reset Your Life may object to the participation of a replacement participant if additional costs arise or legal regulations prevent participation.
   6.3. Both the original and replacement participants are jointly liable.

7. Cancellation by Participant – Cancellation Fees for Coaching/Yoga Portion
   • The deposit is non-refundable.
   • Cancellation 120 days before the retreat: 50% of the remaining balance.
   • Cancellation 30 days or less before the retreat: 100% of the total price.
   • Recommendation: Purchase travel cancellation insurance.
   • In case of a positive COVID-19 test or symptoms, the retreat cannot be attended; costs can be transferred to another retreat.

8. Right to Cancel / Termination due to Special Circumstances
   8.1. Statutory cancellation rights remain unaffected.
   8.2. A change in the instructor does not entitle the participant to cancel.
   8.3. Risks due to COVID-19 or other unforeseeable events are borne by the participant. The retreat may be rescheduled.

9. Liability
   9.1. Reset Your Life is liable for simple negligence only for the violation of essential contractual duties (cardinal duties) and is limited to foreseeable, typical contractual damages.
   9.2. No liability for third-party services, especially travel services.

10. Consent for Image and Video Recordings
    10.1. Reset Your Life may take images and videos during the retreat for promotional purposes.
    10.2. By participating, the participant consents to this usage.
    10.3. On-site, the consent can be revoked against the person taking the recordings.

11. Short-Term Cancellation by Reset Your Life
    • Cancellation for reasons beyond control (e.g., COVID-19, teacher’s illness, force majeure) is possible.
    • The course fee will be refunded, but no further claims will be accepted.

12. Applicable Law, Jurisdiction
    12.1. German law applies, excluding the UN Sales Convention (CISG).
    12.2. The exclusive jurisdiction for all claims arising from this contract is Trier.
